Creation/Capture Process

A document starts on a local computer. The document can come from email, scanner, FTP site, network drive or created within a program application.

Manage the Document Process

All documents are checked in and out within the Filehold system. All prior revisions of checked in documents are preserved and can be restored at any time.

Approval and Workflow Process

Documents can be routed for approval or rejection with feedback.

View and Share the Document

Documents can be viewed by all users that are authorized to access the cabinet, folder and document type.

Retain and Dispose Process

Each document type can have an archival / disposal policy enforced by the Filehold system.

Documents accidently deleted by users can be recovered by librarian within a defined time frame.
